North Ryde is one of Australia’s major business districts. It is located 15 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD and 13km east of Parramatta.
North Ryde features many commercial and industrial developments and is home to various multi national corporations such as Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Oracle, Dimension Data and Honeywell along with some of the largest IT, telecommunications and pharmaceutical companies. Its strategic location makes it one of the fastest growing office precincts in the Sydney Metropolitan area. North Ryde shares the same postcode of 2113 with the neighbouring suburb of Macquarie Park.
North Ryde is located close to Epping Road and Delhi Road which is easily accessed via the M2 Motorway. The M2 Motorway also leads to the Lane Cove Tunnel and into the Sydney CBD. Lane Cove Road runs from North to South enabling quick access to Homebush Bay, Sydney Olympic Park and the M4 Motorway. The suburb is serviced by public buses and the new North Ryde Railway Station which opened in 2009.
